Dr. Desiree Cassell, PT, DPT – Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Specialist:
Dr. Desiree Cassell is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified Women’s Health Specialist with a passion for helping women feel strong, confident, and connected in their bodies — without pain, pressure, or burnout. As the founder of The Balanced Momtality and creator of the Pelvic Floor, Core & More App, she blends evidence-based physical therapy with holistic mind-body tools to guide women through all stages of life, from pregnancy and postpartum to menopause and beyond.
Desiree brings over a decade of experience working with women in clinical, community, and virtual settings. She specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction, core rehab, nervous system regulation, and functional movement — always meeting her clients with compassion, education, and empowerment.
At the YMCA, she leads workshops and classes focused on pelvic health, core strengthening, and whole-body restoration. Her mission is to make pelvic floor education more accessible, reduce shame around women's health, and help more women feel safe and strong in their movement.
When she's not teaching, Desiree is a mom of three, host of The Pelvic Floor, Core & More Podcast, and a lover of nature, nourishing food, and lifting heavy — with a healed pelvic floor, of course.

Kate Cleveland:
Kate Cleveland is a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach. With a strong science background and a deep understanding of behavior-based habit change, she helps busy people cut through nutrition noise, build realistic routines, and feel better in their bodies without chasing perfection.
Kate’s work centers on the idea that real progress happens one small habit at a time, and that consistency will always beat extremes. She loves creating spaces where people can learn, connect, and support one another, believing that meaningful change is easier when we’re not doing it alone.
When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her reading, cooking, or exploring the beauty of nature with her hubby and their two adventurous daughters.

Tessa Dowell:
After retiring from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2015, Tessa began her wellness practice as an
integrative health coach, guiding people to connect with their inner wisdom through stress-
management tools, breath work, mindset practices, food choices, and body movement.
Tessa’s passion for health and wellness began with a cancer diagnosis 35 years ago, which led her down
a path of learning tools to empower herself and others to live their best life.
Tessa’s training/certification includes 1) Integrative Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative
Nutrition; 2) Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner through EFT University; 3)
HeartMath Interventions Program through HeartMath Institute; and 4) Conscious Connected
Breathwork certification through master trainer, JP Crimi.
Tessa has been facilitating various workshops and 1-on-1 coaching sessions for the past 10 years and is
amazed by the transformation she has seen in herself and her students when these tools and practices
are implemented -- they are instrumental in riding the waves of life with more ease.
